At Baselworld 2010, I had a chance to view the brand new Zenith El Primero Striking 10th timepiece, in gold. In recent years Zenith has gotten from their core, that is classical timepieces. Under the direction of the new CEO, Jean- Dufour, they are returning to basics. And this, of course, includes their famous EL Primero Rado R53492713 movement. This past year, Zenith unveiled the vintage El Primero collection throughout the Basel show. That was, by far, my personal favorite of the new collections. They'd another nice timepieces as well, however in general, the majority of their designs weren't well received.
